Dick Schedler was kind enough to design and make crosses to give the families we build houses for. They are packed along with our supplies. We leave St. Paul Friday at 4 pm. Please pray for safe travel.
Tonight our mission team met to reinforce books for the the children's library. We put a clear, sticky, cover on each book.
I loved this memorial and it made my faith stronger to see a great leader who had such strong faith. Ali
It was stiil rainy and cold this morning , but that did not stop us from reading the Bible on the steps of our nation's capitol bright and early. All of us took a turn reading. We got from Zechariah to Malachi. This was all part of an organized effort to read through the entire Bible in the 90 hours prior to the National Day of Prayer. Not many people can say they have done that!
Today we got up really early (5:00AM) to read the Bible on the capital steps. Reading the Bible makes me think of how blessed I am to have religious freedom in a country where I won't get beaten up for what I believe. I am glad I got a chance to read the Bible in public in front of an important building of our nation. We also got to go inside the Supreme Court, which was pretty cool, because it is the building where the biggest cases are decided. - Sam Jordan
